About Me

Growing up with debilitating environmental allergies, everyday life was a constant exhaustion. Getting treated by manual therapy firsthand showed me how the spine, nervous system, and inner systems work together, and how the body can truly heal when treated as a whole. My allergies resolved completely and have remained gone since. That experience set me on the path of healing myself and helping others do the same.

I grew up in Boston and earned my bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology, followed by a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. During graduate school, I taught Anatomy and Physiology and went on to train at respected institutions including Stanford University Hospital, Harvard's Massachusetts General Hospital & Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, Cedars-Sinai, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.  These experiences shaped my systems-based, whole-body approach to care.

After transitioning from neurology to pelvic health, I became the sole pelvic specialty provider at two Kaiser Permanente locations in the DMV area. I am board-certified through the Herman and Wallace Institute and was part of an early cohort of clinicians certified to receive the PRPC (Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification), which requires over 2,000 hours of pelvic-specific patient care. I currently am developing the Center for Pelvic Health at Ascension St. Agnes Hospital, building advanced pelvic services from the ground up.

I’m also a wife, a mom to four-year-old twins, and a mentor. My college-aged teen is making waves in the AI world, and my husband’s support makes it possible for me to pursue this work while raising our family. Outside the clinic, I enjoy reading, exploring new cultures and cuisines, and family walks, often with a vanilla latte in hand.
